#this bit literally broke me. #just the expression on his face when he suddenly realises that she’s not talking about him and that he’s no longer important. #because after all, all Sherlock craves is admiration and for people to recognise his genius. #it’s as if he finally let his guard down for Irene Adler only to be mocked  by her. #and it fucking hurt him. #little did he know, she’s not mocking him. #she really is impressed by him. #she was just playing the game.
